Greg is the founder of Aspire to Give®, an educational, social enterprise dedicated to unleashing the human spirit to accelerate philanthropic impact through education, social innovation, collaboration, and advocacy. Greg served as the inaugural Philanthropist in Residence at Auburn University’s Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies and on the Board of Directors for the International Association for Advisors Philanthropy. As a West Point graduate, Greg has a passion for servant leadership to equip donors with the roadmap, knowledge, skills, and philanthropic fluency to tap and unleash their embedded potential to become more effective and impactful through their giving.
With over 20 years of experience and credentialed expertise in all facets of financial, estate, and philanthropic planning, Greg is the architect and author of the online, 4-course learning program: The Aspirational Philanthropist Learning Series℠. He has also authored four books on unleashing individual human generosity: Aspire to Give: How to Create a More Meaningful Life through Your Giving, The 5 Keys to Unlock Donor Generosity, The Donor’s Workbook to Foster Generosity to Family & Special Causes, and Love Letters to My Family.
Greg is married to Suzette, a loving, retired kindergarten teacher who exemplifies and serves as the inspirational role model for Aspire, the symbol of the Giving Heart. Suzette and Greg have two giving daughters and seven thriving grandchildren and reside in Auburn, Alabama.
