Coaching Progress Session #1: Starting Your Journey Strong
During the first of five group video calls, you will have the opportunity to connect with your cohort peers and meet your coach. This session will focus on introductions, allowing you to learn about your cohort peers, your coach, the course content and expectations.
L1 Questions That Change Everything: Learning the Student Athlete Pivot Point Process
Student-athletes face constant pivot points—playing time, injuries, coaching changes, financial & NIL opportunities, academics, and identity pressures. This lesson introduces Generous Inquiry as a repeatable decision-making framework that trains athletes to ask better questions, gain clarity faster, and move forward with purpose and maturity.
L2 Your “Why” in the NIL Era: Building Purpose Beyond Performance
Athletes define a purpose that’s bigger than the scoreboard and stronger than public opinion. It equips them to align identity, goals, and priorities so NIL becomes a tool that supports the athlete’s long-term life mission — not a distraction that derails it.
L3 Turning Pressure into Purpose: Making Meaning from Your Student-Athlete Journey
Student-athletes experience wins, losses, setbacks, and sacrifices that shape who they become. This lesson teaches athletes how to extract meaning from every season and moment, turning adversity into wisdom and confidence, building resilience and emotional strength that transfers to life beyond sport.
L4 Owning Your Story: Communicating with Confidence, Clarity, and Credibility
NIL success requires communication — interviews, branding, networking, leadership, and accountability. This lesson trains athletes to tell their story with confidence, strengthening personal identity and credibility while building professional readiness and leadership presence.
L5 Money with Meaning: Growing Purpose-Driven, Financial Self-leadership
Guides student-athletes to reframe NIL income as a leadership responsibility. Student-athletes learn a purpose-driven approach to spending, saving, investing, and giving — building financial confidence and long-term stability while reducing risk and protecting the athlete, the program, and the institution.
Coaching Progress Session #2: Understanding Your Footing
Reconvene and engage in an enriching learning session with your cohort peers and your Success Coach during this second group video call. Immerse yourself in a collaborative and stimulating group learning experience to explore the  course material through storytelling.
L6 Your Sweet Spot: Identifying Talent + Passion + Opportunity Beyond Sport
Athletes can identify the intersection of what they’re good at, what they care about, and where opportunity exists. It positions NIL and athletics as a platform to discover transferable strengths, career direction, and meaningful impact beyond their playing years.
L7 Reset and Refocus: Renewing Your Purpose After Setbacks, Injuries, and Change
Transitions in sport can be sudden and emotional. This lesson provides a structured process for athletes to reset after disappointment, regain confidence, and renew purpose — building mental toughness and maturity that improves both performance and life outcomes.
L8 Framing the Transition: Making Big Life Moves Feel Manageable
Student-athletes often feel overwhelmed when facing big decisions — the transfer portal, role changes, major selection, relationships, finances, or post-sport planning. This lesson teaches athletes how to break down complex transitions into clear categories so they can make progress without anxiety or paralysis.
L9 Goals Under Pressure: Choosing the Right Next Move and Executing It
Student-athletes learn to set goals that are aligned, measurable, and realistic amid the demands of real athletics. It introduces a disciplined goal and decision framework that strengthens execution, accountability, and leadership in high-pressure environments.
Coaching Progress Session #3: Adjusting Your Course
Continue your learning journey with your cohort peers during the third group call. This is an opportunity to engage with and learn from other cohort  learners, focusing on how these narratives can be applied to various life transitions.
L10 Thinking to Lead Yourself Well:   Self-Leading Tools for Better Decisions On and Off the Field
Elite student-athletes are trained to perform, but not always to think strategically about life. This lesson equips athletes with practical thinking tools that improve judgment, reduce impulsive decisions, and strengthen their ability to evaluate opportunities, relationships, and long-term consequences.
L11 Confident Choices: Thinking for Risk, Truth, and Your Next Steps
NIL creates new decisions and risks—contracts, partnerships, peer pressure, lifestyle choices, and reputation management. This lesson teaches athletes how to assess risk, pursue truth, and make confident choices with integrity — strengthening decision-making maturity and long-term success.
Coaching Progress Session #4: Mastering Your Decision-making
Collaborate with your coach to apply the critical thinking tools to tackle challenges and make smart decisions as you follow your transition plan toward your renewed purpose of building the next chapter of your life.
L12 Daily Intentional Living: Building Habits that Sustain Purpose and Success
Student-athletes can turn purpose into daily practice. Student-athletes learn how to live intentionally through routines, discipline, and consistent decisions — building a lifestyle that supports performance, academics, relationships, and post-sport readiness while creating a foundation for lifelong success.
Coaching Progress Session #5: Celebrating Your Brighter Future
With the full support of your coach, confidently embrace your transition strategy while applying your essential skillsets and critical thinking to overcome challenges, adapt to changes, and make informed choices.
